@Maria: So, uh, super glad you reminded me about putting together a list of things to ask. I’ve been so focused last few days on the moving process, hadn’t yet shifted my brain back to the apartment hunting side of things.

Yeah, this whole across the country thing…basically, I’m waiting for the jump, cause planning things from this far away is a pain! Come Monday night, and I’ll finally be living outside the Hoosier state for the first time in my life!

I have to admit I’ve felt the same way about all the moving. I just signed a lease for a place in NC, and during the whole process was frantically calling my parents for advise on what to ask about and all that stuff, since DePauw hadn’t prepared us *at all* for getting our own places! Silly DePauw. It’s going to be nice to feel a little bit more settled, at least for the next year. I can’t believe you and everyone are moving so far away…good luck with the move! I do not envy you having to go to the other side of the country, haha

@Amy Whipple: Thank you for reaching out! This is definitely something I need to be better informed about. Seems like sometimes it was a hit-or-miss on whether those around me knew about the disease, so I'm hoping with this post they'll have a better idea.
